How a Team Shamble Works
Each match is played using a 2-player Team Shamble format.
On every hole:
Both teammates tee off.
The team selects the best drive that is in play.
Both players place their ball from the selected drive.
Each player plays their own ball from that position until the hole is completed.
The lowest individual score becomes the official team score for the hole.
Selected Drive Rules
When selecting the team's drive:
Either player's drive may be selected.
The selected drive must be in play.
A ball that finishes out of bounds or in a penalty area may not be selected.
Both players must play their next shot from from the selected drive.
If the selected drive is in the fairway, rough, bunker, or fringe, both players play from that same lie.
Order of Play
Teammates may decide who tees off first on each hole.
After the selected drive, players may play in any order, provided it is safe and does not delay play.
Ready Golf is encouraged to maintain pace of play.
Team Score
Only one team score is recorded for each hole.
The lowest individual score between the two teammates becomes the official team score.
